I am a Chi-town city girl, born and raised. I live in Andersonville with my husband of 14 years and my two amazing, beautiful, P.I.T.A. (see Glassary) girls, Isabella and Arianna.
What I Prefer: Mac vs. PC, hormonally balanced vs. hormonally challenged, outdoor exercise or yoga vs. a sweaty, MRSA-infested gym, briefs vs. boxers.
What I love (besides my family): livin' in the city (although a bit more space would be nice), traveling (I have to get my Greece fix in at least once every few years), a glass o' red wine now and then (although champagne and pinot grigio are close seconds), my work (editor of a little magazine called Chicago Bride), a good movie or show (don't mess with my DVR/DVD set up), music (I can't go one day without it) and of course, my biatches (my sister and girlfriends who have gotten me through everything.)

I am the daughter of South American immigrants. I am also a wife, a mother, and an gettin’-close-to-old hooch who loves her family more than anything. I love to sing (and even get paid to do it), make music, write, travel, drink wine and champagne with an occasional whiskey shot, laugh my ass off, hang out with my other hoochies, and sweat. Yoga = Boring. Working Out to the Point of Nausea and Purple Face = Effective.
I am a working mama who does my best to put my 10-year old daughter S (Golden Haired! Hilarious! Only Child! Gasp!) first, but definitely have selfish moments that involve GNO’s, wine, sleeping in, and shouting to my hungry child, “Make your own damned breakfast!”
I have been with my husband M (Dark! Handsome! Brooding! Comes with Accent!) for a frightening total of 22 (what the fuck?) years. After all we’ve been through, I am lucky to say that we are still at it, living in our charming shack, raising our amazing kid together.
